Thank you to all of you who have made the decision to follow this new blog. However, I am changing my plans and I’m keen for you to get on board with the course correction. This will be the final post on this site—maybe not the shortest-lived blog site, but close to it!
Why? The main issue is the choice of domain. I decided to call it fiec.online because this was where I planned to blog on any matters pertaining to FIEC. The problem is that it has the potential to create confusion—how does fiec.online relate to fiec.org.au?
So the revised plan is to revamp macarisms.com and to add a category for FIEC matters. My aim will be to write material relevant to FIEC, while also continuing to review helpful books, comment on matters of ministry and theology, offer encouragement to people struggling with cancer and serious illness, and share a few personal and family matters from time to time.
We will also be revamping our FIEC website at fiec.org.au. This will be the hub for information on FIEC, links to our member churches, upcoming events, and helpful resources. I will install a link to the FIEC site at macarisms.com.
